Congratulations to Jennie Pu who has been selected as the next Director of the Hoboken Public Library (NJ)!
Pu served at Hudson County Community College for more than two years and has more than 15 years of diverse library and technology experience in academia, museums and K-12 schools. She also served as a senior library associate at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, managing the day-to-day library operations of the Department of Asian Art.
“As a Hudson County resident, I feel incredibly privileged to take on the mantle of former director Lina Podles,” Pu said. “Hoboken has always led the way in library innovation so I’m really excited to continue and expand on that while getting out into the community and immersing myself in Hoboken.”
