The City of Red Wing is a sprawling riverfront community nestled among the bluffs of southeast Minnesota’s Mississippi River Valley. It offers a blend of enviable natural environments, community pride, and quick access to the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul. Venues like the Sheldon Theatre and the Central Park Bandshell offer musical and theatrical experiences for everyone, while downtown Red Wing provides a unique mix of restaurants and retail shops with a “Main Street America” vibe. Music in the Park happens all summer; fall brings the Red Wing Arts Festival, and winter is conquered when the Big Turn Music Festival warms up dozens of venues across the city.
Red Wing is proud of its strong partnership with the Prairie Island Indian Community.
