Jason Homer is a public library leader with more than a decade of experience in library administration, organizational leadership, and community engagement. Throughout his career, he has been committed to helping libraries evolve to meet changing community needs while remaining grounded in their fundamental mission of connecting people with information, opportunity, and one another.
Jason is particularly interested in staff development and building organizational cultures that encourage creativity, trust, and innovation. He is regularly invited to present on developing and supporting staff, leading organizations through change, and creating the conditions that allow new ideas to move from concept to reality.
Jason most recently served as Executive Director of the Worcester Public Library, where he led a complex public library system serving New England’s second-largest city. Previously, he held leadership positions at the Morse Institute Library and Marlborough Public Library.
A nationally recognized library leader, Jason was named a Library Journal Mover & Shaker. He is passionate about the future of public libraries and the people who make their work possible, believing that strong libraries require both a clear vision for the future and an investment in the people who bring that vision to life.
