Congratulations to Herrick District Library upon selecting Ron Suszek as their new Director!
Ron L Suszek most recently served as Director of the Muskegon Area District Library, a public library system with 11 locations throughout Muskegon County. Under Ron’s leadership MADL increased usership, expanded its outreach efforts, and made significant investments in supporting early literacy throughout the region. Prior to serving as the Director of MADL, Ron was an administrator at the San Antonio Public Library-City of San Antonio, TX where he oversaw collections and digital services for the 12th largest library system in the nation.
A native of Northern Michigan, he is a graduate of Hope College and a graduate of the School of Information Science at the University of Illinois. An active road cyclist, Suszek is the current president of the Muskegon County Bicycling Coalition.
