Best wishes to Goshen Public Library and Historical Society (NY) Board of Trustees upon selecting Rose Chiocchi as the new Library Director! Rose joins the GPL&HS team after serving for nearly ten years as the executive director for the Pike County (PA) Public Library. Rose’s career path began in marketing and event planning initially, before she discovered her true calling in libraries and education. Her career led her to positions with Port Jervis (NY) Public Library and Western Sullivan Public Library before her love for education and adventure led to Thailand, where she spent time teaching and immersing herself in the culture. The past ten years at Pike County have included a construction project for a new children’s room, significant expansion of the popular Milford Readers & Writers Festival, and being a visible, engaged leader within the Pennsylvania Library Association.
