We would like to congratulate Nathan Jochum, who has been selected to be the next Director at Utica Public Library in New York. Previously, Nathan was the Director at the Perry County Public Library in Tell City, Indiana since 2022. He also served as the Public Library Director At-Large on the ILF (Indiana Library Federation) Board of Directors, and the ILF Management Division Chair for the state. Nathan has been working in libraries for over twenty years (eighteen in a supervisory or management role). He earned his Master’s in Library and Information Science from Drexel University in 2009. Nathan has spent many years volunteering his time in the performing arts and business entrepreneurship communities. His love for community, partnerships, and experiences run deep. So does his advocacy of free speech, freedom to read, the underserved, equal access, and rights for everyone. Bradbury Miller Associates wishes both Utica Public Library and Nathan Jocum the very best as he assumes this new role.
