Congratulations to the King County Library System upon selecting a new Director of Collection Management Services—Jennifer Baxter!
Jen served as the Deputy Director of Live Oak Public Libraries in Savannah, GA, where she directed the Communications & Strategic Partnerships departments and the Collection Development Department. Jen has worked in public libraries for close to 15 years, serving in a variety of roles—starting as a volunteer in Southern California and going on to hold leadership roles in libraries across the South, including Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia. Jen is an active member of ALA, serving on the Committee on Library Advocacy and the Leadership Development Committee and in PLA, serving as co-chair of the New Member Advisory Group.
